Supply Chain Specialist

We are hiring a Supply Chain Specialist to support procurement, inventory management, and the movement of internal hardware assets across laboratories, storage locations, and operational sites. This is an entry‑level opportunity suited for candidates looking to build a career in supply chain operations within a technical or laboratory environment.

You will work closely with engineering and research teams to ensure timely procurement of equipment and accurate tracking of internal assets. The role involves a combination of system-based coordination and hands-on operational responsibilities.

• Support sourcing and ordering of equipment, spare parts, and supplies
• Track purchase orders, assist with invoice checks, and coordinate with suppliers
• Maintain accurate inventory and asset records across multiple locations
• Participate in stock checks and resolve discrepancies
• Assist in shipping and receiving of equipment across internal sites (UK & USA)
• Prepare items for shipment (packing, labelling, documentation)
• Support lab and storage organisation, including equipment handling
• Update inventory systems and maintain documentation as per compliance standards

• Interest or early experience in procurement, inventory, or operations support
• Comfortable working with physical equipment and record-keeping
• Basic knowledge of inventory tools or spreadsheets
• Strong attention to detail and methodical approach
• Ability to follow processes, safety standards, and handling procedures
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Exposure to laboratory, engineering, or hardware environments
• Experience in stock or asset management
• Interest in building a career in supply chain or operations

• Must have the right to work in the UK
