Supply Chain Projects Lead

itsu [grocery] is looking for a Supply Chain Projects Lead to join its Supply Chain team.

We’re looking for a Supply Chain Projects Lead to represent supply chain across all NPD and EPD projects, making sure correct considerations are made ahead of time to ensure products are operationally ready to launch. Responsible for working collaboratively across multiple teams and proactively communicating back to relevant supply chain teams on project development, from conception right through to first delivery out to customer.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure operational readiness for product launches and range changes, ensuring MOQs, lead times, critical paths and supply chain risks are identified, agreed and managed throughout the Gate process.
  • Work closely with our project teams to lead supply chain representation in all NPD / EPD projects.
  • Work collaboratively with the Supply and Demand teams within Supply Chain to ensure scenario planning in line with Risk & Ops is conducted in good time.
  • Make certain correct product master data is captured and communicated ahead of launch.
  • Ensure correct barcode types are used and that artwork is created and printed correctly with no scanning issues at launch.
  • Work with Customer Service team to test ordering systems and ensure a successful first delivery from warehouse to customer.
  • Lead on post evaluation after project launch to review master data accuracy, efficiency and process improvements.
  • Support on wider procurement and supply chain projects including repack / relabeling projects.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a supply chain, project management or operational role, ideally within FMCG, or food manufacturing.
  • Great organisational skills with the ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage multiple tasks.
  • Strong accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with varying stakeholders.
  • Understanding of the NPD Gate process and strong proficiency within supply chain operations.
  • Knowledge of Incoterms, freight and customs processes for food imports, and GS1 barcode rules preferred but not essential.
  • An open-minded approach to the role and a flexible, can-do, friendly attitude. Our business is constantly changing.
