We’re Pod—one of the UK’s leading EV charging providers, trusted by over 250,000 customers and powering more than 5 million miles every single day. But behind the numbers is a team of passionate people working together to shape a smarter, more sustainable future.

We started off in 2009 as Pod Point, helping people make the switch to electric as EVs began to hit the road. Today, we’re leading the way into a smarter energy future. As part of the EDF family—the UK’s biggest generator of zero-carbon electricity—we have the strength and stability to grow for the future.

And we’ve started that growth already. In 2026, we welcomed EO Charging into the Pod family, bringing together Pod’s strengths in home, workplace, public and smart charging with EO’s specialist fleet and depot charging technology. The acquisition significantly expands our commercial fleet and energy management capabilities. Together, Pod and EO are helping logistics, transport and operational fleet customers electrify at scale, optimise charging performance and make better use of existing grid capacity.

Pod is the next evolution of Pod Point. As electrification becomes everyday, Pod is here to help build a brighter future for society by managing the flow of energy, making it affordable, accessible, and for the benefit of everyone. With 250,000 customers already trusting us to be at the heart of their EV life, we see Pod playing a leading role in the UK’s increasingly electrified future.

Our focus is on powering not just homes and vehicles, but local communities and social progress.

This is a brilliant opportunity for someone who enjoys bringing structure to complex delivery and takes pride in running a well organised operation. You’ll play a key role at the heart of our commercial projects, keeping everything moving while having the space to improve how we work, increase efficiency, and make a real impact across the team. We’re looking for someone who takes ownership, thrives in a fast‐moving environment, and wants to play a key role in scaling an EV business.

If you’re passionate about the space and want to make a real impact, you’ll fit right in.

  • Oversee equipment hire and cost control - you’ll manage equipment hire across projects, reviewing usage weekly and ensuring items are off-hired promptly to minimise unnecessary costs
  • Own invoicing and payments - you’ll run the end‐to‐end receipting and payment process, ensuring supplier and subcontractor payments are accurate and released only when work and documentation are complete
  • Ensure documentation and QA readiness - you’ll work closely with internal teams and subcontractors to make sure completion packs are uploaded and QA sign‐offs are in place ahead of payment
  • Maintain commercial data accuracy - you’ll keep purchase orders, supplier records, and receipting data accurate across systems, ensuring the commercial operation runs on reliable information
  • Deliver reporting and insights - you’ll produce regular and ad hoc reports, turning operational data into clear, actionable insights for the commercial project management team
  • Drive process improvements and automation - you’ll identify opportunities to reduce manual effort, building automations and helping others across the business improve how they work with data and tools.
What we’re looking for
