Position: Operations Executive (Logistics) Operations

THE ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

Reports to:

Supply Operations Manager

Key internal relationships:
Supply Operations Manager, Head of Operations, Operations Executives

Key external relationships:
Warehouse Operatives, Brewery Operations Teams, 3rd Party Logistics Partners

Key responsibilities
  • Primary Logistics – you will manage the day-to-day relationships with our key third‑party logistics partners, arranging all internal stock movements across our supply chain and monitoring on‑time and in‑full (OTIF) deliveries to ensure that we always have the right stock in the right places at the right time. This will require close communication with the rest of the operations team at JUBEL to make sure that our warehouses are always sufficiently stocked for supply into our on‑trade, off‑trade and events customers.
  • Brewery Inventory Management – ownership of finished goods inventory levels at our brewery – liaising with our Supply Operations Manager and the operations team at the brewery to confirm final weekly production quantities and map out our weekly collections plan to ensure prompt collection of finished goods.
  • Order Processing – responsible for the fulfilment of all customer orders delivered directly from the brewery. This will require close communication with our Operations Executive to identify and align on the specific orders that should be delivered directly from the brewery to maximise transport efficiency.
  • Systems Maintenance – upkeep of relevant systems to help us maintain accurate and reliable back‑of‑house data, including the processing of Goods Receipt Notes (GRNs), Stock Transfers, and other stock movements in line with the completion of the corresponding deliveries across our supply network.
  • Network Efficiency & Improvement Projects – you will be responsible for driving supply chain efficiency improvements across our primary logistics network to reduce logistics costs as much as possible whilst also improving service levels across the board. This will require detailed and ongoing analysis of our current supply chain setup to understand where we can be driving further improvements as our supply landscape changes over time – whether that’s reducing delivery lead times, increasing the accuracy of brewery collections, or reviewing our logistics partners to ensure we have the most optimal solution for primary logistics.
  • Sustainability Projects – identifying opportunities to improve environmental efficiency across the entire supply chain, and working with the relevant stakeholders to deliver sustainability‑focused improvement projects.
  • This is not an exhaustive list of duties and is subject to review in agreement with the postholder.
