Your role at a glance
As our Senior Supply Chain Manager you will be accountable for the implementation and day-to-day execution of the Owner Furnished Contractor Installed (OFCI) equipment program supporting regional data center construction. The OFCI Program includes procurement of critical mechanical, electrical and power systems, ensuring quality, on-time, and on-budget delivery to construction projects worldwide. The Senior Supply Chain Manager represents the Supply Chain organization and actively engages with the project team on all project strategy and project delivery activities to ensure supply chain strategies are aligned and meet all project build schedules, cost, design and capacity targets.
This role requires an understanding of both construction project delivery and capital supply chain management in mission-critical environments.
What we are looking for Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Engineering, Business Administration, or relevant field
Minimum of six years of procurement and supply chain management required, preferably in mission critical/data center construction support including Capital Equipment procurement
Experience working with electrical and/or mechanical system suppliers, with additional specific experience with system integrators (modules, skids, etc.) required
Experience in Data Center construction, working with Suppliers & Buyer’s Agent (General Contractor)
LEAN/Six Sigma trainingPMP (Project Management Professional)
MCIPS (Chartered Procurement and Supply Qualification) preferred
Several years’ of experience in supply chain, procurement
Experience managing capital equipment or MEP procurement in data center construction, hyperscale, industrial, mission-critical environments
Expertise in strategic sourcing, contract negotiation, and supplier relationship management
Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Coupa)
Strong stakeholder management, communication, and cross-functional leadership skills
Understanding of sustainability and ESG requirements within capital supply chains
Additional European language such as French, Spanish and/or Italian would be an advantage
What you will do Supporting construction projects and critical facilities operations business objectives through implementation of the Global OFCI Program strategies
Support development and implementation of project specific OFCI equipment supply chain logistic activities and procedures including, but not limited to, multi-year project forecasts, sourcing, production planning, negotiations, procurement, logistics, quality, distribution, and heavy communication/alignment with internal and external NTT GDC stakeholders
Ensure all OFCI equipment orders are made on time to meet schedule, actively mitigate late equipment deliveries and ensure high rate of on time delivery
Partner with project controls and finance to share procurement status, budget utilization, equipment installation progress, ensuring transparency and cost accountability
Manage impact of project specific design changes with suppliers and ensure fair and reasonable equipment pricing as a core business function
Anticipate issues in advance to prevent potential impacts, internally and externally to drive business decisions. This includes an understanding of the market environment and current events
Monitor and populate key performance indicators (KPI’s) in support of the global standard for OFCI equipment. Measure performance against these KPIs and collaborate with global category managers to evaluate supplier performance and drive continuous improvement
Be the first level escalation for all project OFCI concerns including vendor or overall supply chain issues (change orders, late deliveries, disputes, invoice…
