Position: Good Receiver (Part-Time), Pre-Opening - The St. Regis

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive, unload and process all deliveries, ensuring accuracy against purchase orders and invoices
  • Inspect all goods for quality and condition, reporting any discrepancies or damages promptly
  • Record and track all incoming and outgoing deliveries within inventory and receiving systems
  • Organise and distribute goods to the appropriate departments in a timely manner
  • Maintain accurate logs, reports and documentation for all receiving activities
  • Reconcile receiving reports with invoices to ensure accurate stock counts
  • Store goods appropriately, ensuring secure and organised receiving and storage areas
  • Manage incoming and outgoing mail and packages, including guest deliveries
  • Communicate with guests regarding package receipt and ensure correct handling and delivery
  • Follow all procedures for hazardous materials handling in line with regulations
  • Maintain the cleanliness, organisation and security of the receiving area at all times
  • Report any stock variances, losses or operational concerns to management
  • Support departmental operations by ensuring required goods are readily available
  • Follow all company health, safety and security procedures
Core Competencies
  • Previous experience in receiving, stores, logistics or a similar operational role, ideally within hospitality
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy when handling deliveries and documentation
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced, operational environment
  • Good organisational and time‑management skills
  • Basic understanding of inventory control and stock management processes
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to coordinate with multiple departments
  • A proactive and responsible approach to safeguarding goods and company assets
  • Ability to identify discrepancies and resolve issues effectively
  • Impeccable personal presentation aligned with professional standards
  • Physical capability to meet the demands of handling goods and deliveries
  • Availability to work a part‑time schedule (20hrs per week, Monday to Friday), with flexibility to support operational requirements as needed
