Job Description & How to Apply Below
Location: Greater London

Cedar are supporting a Private Sector organisation, based in Central London, who are looking to hire an Interim Procurement Coordinator. This role is on an initial 3-month contract basis (potential to be extended and/or converted to a full-time permanent opportunity) and is offering a day rate ranged from £250 up to £300 per day. This role will operate on a hybrid working basis with the expectations to be on‑site in the office 1-2 days per week.

Candidates applying MUST HAVE the right to work in the UK and be either immediately available or available at short notice (i.e. 1 week notice period) – the client needs someone who can start ASAP so candidates who do not have immediate availability will not be considered.

Reporting into the Senior Procurement Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing Purchase Orders (PO) requests, ensuring aligning and compliance with internal processes, act as a point of contact for the procurement system (providing day to day support for internal business users) and support the onboarding and renewal of suppliers. Additionally, you will be responsible for monitoring procurement activity, system usage and operational metrics to build reports and insights for wider business use.

Candidates applying MUST HAVE:

  • Hands on experience working a similar role covering Procurement, Purchasing or Vendor Management
  • Experience working with procurement or purchasing systems
  • Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and communication skills
  • Experience with procurement analytics and reporting tools would be advantageous
