Hybrid Working - 2 Days On-Site
We are seeking an experienced Procurement Officer to join a growing Housing Association and support the delivery of an effective, compliant and value-driven procurement service. Reporting to the Procurement Manager, you will assist with procurement activities across a range of categories, support contract management processes and work closely with stakeholders to ensure procurement delivers value for money and high levels of service.

- Support end-to-end procurement exercises from sourcing through to contract award
- Assist in developing procurement strategies that align with organisational objectives
- Work with internal stakeholders to understand requirements and provide procurement guidance
- Support supplier negotiations and ensure best value outcomes are achieved
- Maintain procurement records, contract registers and supporting documentation
- Assist with supplier performance monitoring and contract management activities
- Ensure compliance with procurement regulations, governance requirements and internal policies
- Produce procurement reports, spend analysis and market research to support decision-making
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across procurement processes
- Build and maintain positive relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders
- Previous procurement experience within a public sector, housing association or regulated environment
- Understanding of procurement legislation and best practice
- Experience supporting tender exercises and contract management activities
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Good commercial awareness and analytical capability
- Experience using procurement systems and Microsoft Office applications
- Working towards or interested in pursuing a CIPS qualification would be advantageous
