Our client offers global Logistics solutions Worldwide and are currently looking for an Ocean Export Clerk to join their team at their offices based near Hornchurch.

The purpose of the role is to manage the export operations process from start to finish.

You will be working in a small team on the export operations desk.

Duties will include:

• Open file and put booking on the in house system
• Liaison with Shipping Line to place booking
• Dealing with clients on bookings / collections
• Organising the loading of the containers
• Liaison with overseas agents
• Speaking to customers on a regular basis.
• Updating the system
• Deal with any queries or problems that may arise

Elements of training will be provided for the role as long as you have an understanding of Exports

Hours of work are 0900 to 17.00 Monday to Friday

Salary £28k

some export experience is preferred, operationally would be a bonus but anyone who has been in and around exports for a couple of years and has a general understanding of how it works and looking to progress will be considered.
