Supply Chain Assistant

Monitor stock levels and supply performance, working with external suppliers, Supply Chain Management and internal category teams to ensure appropriate stock cover is in place.
Execute and monitor purchasing processes, ensuring that accurate records are maintained for purchases and that stock is received correctly into inventory.
Manage clear communication with suppliers and logistics providers to ensure smooth delivery of required goods, support preparation for negotiation of contracts, and ensure adherence to service and compliance standards by suppliers.
Identify vulnerabilities in supply chain processes and work with other teams to make improvements which address them.
Support sourcing for new medications and products.
Identify and deliver process improvement opportunities to increase reliability and reduce waste.

• 1+ years of experience in supply chain, operations, or related consulting roles.
• Understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes including sourcing, supplier management, logistics, planning, and fulfillment.
• Clear communication and excellent stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in Excel/spreadsheet software and familiarity with ERP or supply chain planning systems.
• Proven track record of running critical business processes.
• Proven track record of identifying and implementing process improvements or other business improvement opportunities.
• Experience in managing supplier relationships.
• 3+ years of experience in supply chain, operations, or related consulting roles (desirable).
• Experience in pharmaceuticals or healthcare supply chain (desirable).
• Negotiation leadership experience within a supply chain procurement setting (desirable).

Demonstrates expertise in supply chain management, including sourcing, supplier management, and logistics, with a focus on process improvement and stakeholder communication. Proficient in utilizing Excel and ERP systems to enhance operational efficiency and ensure compliance.
