Interim Assistant Commercial Manager - FM
Duration:
Until 18th December, with possibility for extension
Location:
Hybrid and 2 days in London
Day Rate: £360 per day (Umbrella, Inside IR35)
Client:
Major, Transport organisation
We’re seeking an experienced Assistant Commercial Manager to support a high-profile transformation programme, helping deliver a major Cleaning in sourcing initiative, within a large, complex, Transport organisation.
This is an opportunity to work on a strategically important project where your commercial expertise will directly influence procurement, supplier relationships, and contract delivery.
The Role:- Leading procurement activities across a significant transformation programme
- Managing both pre- and post-contract commercial activities
- Running sourcing exercises, preparing procurement documentation, and supporting tender processes
- Negotiating with suppliers and building strong commercial relationships
- Providing commercial advice to senior programme stakeholders
- Supporting multiple work streams within a fast-paced delivery environment
You’ll be a confident commercial professional who can operate independently and thrive in a complex stakeholder environment.
- Advanced Excel skills
- Drafting Procurement Strategies
- Drafting Direct Award papers
- Drafting Contract extension papers and management
- Ideally, working knowledge of SAP Ariba
- Knowledge of FTS (find a tender service)
- Previous experience within Facilities Management procurement
