The Role

ReportingtotheCEO/Managing Director,theHeadof

Logistics&Fulfilmentwillleadthecompany'send-to-end warehousing,fulfilmentandoutboundlogisticsoperations.

Thisisahands-onleadershiprole,workingcloselywith

Supply

Chain,Demand Planning,Finance and Customer Servicetoensureordersaredeliveredaccurately ,ontime,andcost-effectively.

Operations&Fulfilment

• Overseethreein-housefulfilmentsitesand3PLrelationshipsensuringhighstandardsofaccuracy,productivityandcustomerservice.
• EstablishandmanageKPIsincludingOTIF,order accuracy,throughput,cycletimeandcostperorder.
• Overseegoodsreceipt,inventory control,quality control,picking,packinganddispatchactivities.
• Planlabourandwarehousecapacitytomeetforecastdemand,seasonalpeaksandpromotionalactivity.
• Standardise processes,SOPsandqualitystandardsacrossalllocations.
• Manageoperationalbudgets,headcountandconsumablespendwhileidentifyingcost-saving opportunities.
• Ensurecompliancewithhealth&safety,employmentlegislationandproduct-handling requirements.

3PL&Logistics Management

• OwnSLAperformance,cost control,inventoryreportingandcontinuousimprovementinitiatives.
• Evaluatemarketoptionsandleadfuture3PLtenders,transitionsorexpansionswhererequired.
• Oversee carrier,courierandfreightrelationships.
• Negotiatecontractsandoptimiseshippingcostswithoutcompromisingservicelevels.
• Analyselogisticsperformance,identifyinefficienciesanddrivepackagingandshippingimprovements.
• Managereturnsprocessestomaximiseefficiencyandstockrecovery.

Systems,Projects&Continuous Improvement

• UseERPandWMSdatatodriveoperationaldecisionsandperformance.
• LeadWMSandlogisticstechnologyimprovementstoenhancevisibility,controlandefficiency.
• Deliver automation,processimprovementandcost-reduction initiatives.
• Fosteracultureofcontinuousimprovementthroughperformancereviewsandroot-cause analysis.
• Developcontingencyandbusinesscontinuityplanscoveringoperational,ITandcarrierdisruptions.

Stakeholder&Team Leadership

• Collaborate with Supply Chain ,Demand Planning,Finance,Customer Service,Commercial and Marketingteamstoalignfulfilmentcapacity,budgetsandservicedelivery.
• Provideaccuratelogisticsforecastingandreporting.
• Lead,coachanddevelop
  
  SiteManagersandtheirteamsacrossmultiplelocations.
• Buildacultureofaccountability,safety,engagementandhighperformance.
• PartnerwithHRonrecruitment,developmentandretentionstrategies.

Skills&Experience Required

• Extensive logistics,warehousingorfulfilmentmanagementexperiencewithine-commerce,retail,FMCGorCPGsectors.
• Provensuccessmanagingmulti-sitewarehouseandfulfilmentoperations,ideallyacrossmultiplecountries.
• Strongexperiencemanaging3PLproviders,includingSLAmanagement,contractnegotiationandperformanceimprovement.
• Expertiseincarrierandfreightnegotiationsacrossdomesticandinternationalmarkets.
• Trackrecordofdeliveringmeasurableserviceimprovementsandcostreductionsinhigh-volumeD2
