As a Procurement Officer in the not-for-profit sector, you'll manage procurement activities to ensure the organisation gets the best value for money. Your work will support the smooth running of the procurement and supply chain department, ensuring compliance and efficiency in all processes.

Client Details

This is a not-for-profit organisation based in London who are currently looking to expand their procurement team due to an exciting period of growth! This role will be working in a small procurement team of 4, managing hands on projects! This role will offer hybrid working with 2 days per week in the office after an initial introductory period! This role will be on an initial 2 year Fixed Term Contract, however, has the opportunity to extend further!

Description

As Procurement Officer you will report into the Procurement Manager. Duties will include, however, not be limited to;

Manage procurement processes, including tendering and contract management across Works procurement's.
Ensure compliance with procurement policies and relevant regulations, including PA23.
Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to achieve cost savings.
Monitor supplier performance and maintain strong supplier relationships.
Provide guidance on procurement best practices to colleagues.
Support the implementation of sustainable and ethical procurement practices.

Profile

A successful Procurement Officer should have:

Experience in procurement, ideally having worked within Works Procurement (buying construction, civil engineering, repair, or building maintenance services).
Strong knowledge of procurement policies and regulations.
Have prior experience of working under PA23 regulations.
Proficiency in managing supplier relationships effectively.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.

Job Offer

Salary ranging from £40,000 to £44,500 dependent on the level of experience.
