Customs Brokerage Agent - Nights

Our client is looking for a Customs Brokerage Agent to work nights. SUMMARY

DESCRIPTION:

Ensure timely and accurate movement of freight and information, while providing exceptional customer service. WHAT YOU DO:
Tasks and Duties Receive documents. Prepare customs entries in Customs ware or other customs software. Understand the elements of the Import & export customs SOP. Ensure accurate and timely data entry into operating systems. Ensure timely customs clearance of shipments. Monitor customs clearances and communicate with Customers. WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU BRING TO US :
Global logistics industry knowledge Good computer skills (e.g., MS Excel, MS Word) Fluent in English Product Agent Job Specific Performance Expectations Timely and Accurate Shipment Processing Ensures smooth and timely freight process flow according to Company operational procedures. Follows customer's standard operating procedures and proactively notifies customers of any issues. Consistently meets KPI standards, as per company's procedures. Timely and Accurate Data Entry Ensures accurate and timely data entry into our operational systems according to Company operational procedures and customer requirements.

Monitors exception reports for quick data integrity resolution. Timely and Accurate Billing and Accounting Invoices customers the expected charges timely and accurately and according to Company and customer requirements. Properly provisions service provider charges to avoid reserves. Follows proper credit approval processes in order to minimize risk and protect the company. The hours are either Sunday to Thursday 9pm to 5.30am or thereabouts or 4on 4off 7pm to 7am Salary depending on experience.
