Job Description

Job Description:

About the role

Help turn customer orders into exceptional vehicle handovers. As our Order to Delivery (OTD) Specialist, you will be at the heart of Xpeng’s UK operations, coordinating the people, vehicles and processes that make every delivery happen.

Combining vehicle logistics, stock management and delivery administration, you will work closely with sales, production, logistics partners and our dealer network. This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys taking ownership, solving problems and seeing their attention to detail make a real difference to customers. The ideal candidate has experience in automotive logistics, supply chain management, and stock control, preferably within the car industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage all car logistics within the country, ensuring smooth transportation and delivery.
  • Plan production in collaboration with the sales team to align supply with demand.
  • Finance follow-up on all suppliers to ensure cost control and budget adherence.
  • Support agent networks with real-time updates, ad hoc cases, and other information.
  • Oversee stock management, ensuring optimal inventory levels for efficient distribution.
  • Streamline stock and logistics processes to improve efficiency and reduce lead times.
  • Assist in developing a more efficient order and logistics platform to enhance overall operations.
  • Allocate vehicles to orders effectively, balancing supply with customer demand.
  • Ensure delivery targets are met by tracking and coordinating vehicle shipments.
  • Manage local stock with stores, ensuring the right vehicles are available at the right time.
  • Own the delivery administration: coordinate order processing, vehicle records, delivery documentation and system updates, ensuring each vehicle progresses smoothly from allocation to handover.
Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Logistics, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or automotive order fulfillment.
  • Strong knowledge of stock management, order allocation, and vehicle logistics.
  • Experience with ERP systems and logistics tracking tools.
  • Ability to analyse financial data and follow up with suppliers on cost control.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of international shipping, customs regulations, and automotive compliance is a plus.
