Technical Lead

We are seeking an experienced Technical Lead to join our clients team at a high-profile site near Liverpool Street. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring a strong multi-skilled background and the ability to manage both planned and reactive maintenance while leading a small on-site team.

Flexibility is required to support site activity, with occasional out-of-hours overtime to support PPMs.

Key Responsibilities

Manage Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPMs) including:

* Emergency Lighting (EML)

* Tap Temperatures

* Fan Coil Units (FCU)

* Point of Use (POU) heaters

* Thermostatic Mixing Valves (TMV)

* Fire extinguishers

* Fire doors

Reactive Works

* First attendance to faults

* Diagnose and repair where possible

* Escalate appropriately when required

Contractor Management

* Issuing authorities to work

* Signing contractors in/out

* Monitoring compliance and site standards

Team Leadership

* Manage 1 Engineer and 1 Apprentice

* Develop and maintain training plans

* Support development and performance management

* Oversee 1 Fabric Technician

Required Skillset

* Multi-skilled (electrical or mechanical bias considered)

* Experience with BMS systems (essential)

* 40 hours per week (8am–5pm standard, flexibility between 7am–7pm)
Basic DBS required

* Familiarity with Simtronic lighting control systems (desirable)

* Strong fault-finding ability

* Experience in a commercial building environment

* Confident managing subcontractors and site compliance
