Salary: up to £13.38 per hour depending on location, skills and experience with company benefits and overtime opportunity.

General hours of work are 40 hours per week with overtime opportunity. Hours and shift patterns tend to fall on days; however, you may also be required to work evenings, nights and weekends. You will also be required to be on the on‑call rota especially if you have the use of a company van.

Company Overview

Chevron part of Ramudden Global UK is a leading traffic management company that sets up temporary road or lane closures, diversions, routes or pedestrian walkways to keep road workers and road users safe while roadworks are underway. It involves consulting, planning, designing, estimating and liaising with suppliers and customers to ensure that our schemes are fit for purpose.

Responsibilities
  • Undertaking traffic counts, calls to clients and subcontractors, timings and near misses.
  • Maintenance of temporary traffic lights.
  • Installing, maintaining and removing temporary traffic management such as deploying:
    • cones
    • signs
    • frames
    • sandbags
    • and other equipment
  • Helping and guiding new trainees, once qualified.
Qualifications
  • Full driving licence, with no more than 6 points. Any driving bans must have been expired for at least 5 years.
  • Able to pass a drug and alcohol test – your offer will depend on the outcome.
  • Positive “can‑do” attitude.
  • Adaptability and flexibility.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
