Building Maintenance, Maintenance Technician / Mechanic
Based in Hackney, London, E9 – Working across London
£46,598 - £49,050 per year
40 hours per week – Shifts to be worked from 8:00am to 16:30pm over a 6 day rolling rota
We have a new and exciting opportunity for an Electrician to join our dedicated and newly established Rapid Response team in London. Responsibilities include inspection and testing on occupied properties and producing Electrical Condition Reports, as well as remedial works. Working in a fast‑paced environment, you’ll use your expertise to resolve issues quickly, keep customers informed, and help us continue providing homes people can rely on.
With a company van and tools included the role will cover areas in and around London.

Responsibilities- Inspecting and testing properties and completing any EICR’s and remedials required, ensuring safety and compliance
- Provide accurate and timely information on progress and advice that is easily understood by the customer and ensure accurate daily work records are completed
- Completing all paperwork and producing certification associated with works undertaken
- Monitoring and maintaining good levels of van stock and ensuring tools and equipment are kept in a suitable condition
- Resolve problems or set into motion the means of resolution, ensuring customers are kept informed in line with agreed processes and within contract and service specifications
- Qualified to 18th Edition - 3rd and 4th amendment, NVQ Level 3 in core electrics, City & Guilds 2391-52 and AM2, with original certification; copies and CSCS cards will not be accepted
- Working knowledge of the application of Health and Safety legislation
- Analysing and diagnosing problems and implementing effective solutions
- Good communication and interpersonal skills along with a customer focused approach
- Holder of a full valid UK driving licence (required to drive a company vehicle)

- £46,598 per annum (rising to £49,050 per annum after 12 months, subject to satisfactory performance)
