Graduate Pest Control Technician

Rentokil Pest Control invites graduates to join our team as a Graduate Pest Control Technician, covering Mitcham, Streatham, Tooting, Norbury and surrounding areas. No prior experience is required as we provide comprehensive, industry-leading training.

• Competitive salary: start with a basic salary of £27,788 per annum plus £3,000 London weighting allowance.
• Expected OTE of £35,000 per annum, with bonus and commission schemes available.

• Full‑time permanent role, Monday to Friday (40‑hour week) with potential for up to 48 hours in the future and an increased salary.
• Industry‑leading training to support customers’ pest control needs.

You will start as a Pest Control Technician, covering a specific geographical area for the first 6–12 months while receiving comprehensive training.

Key responsibilities include:

• Inspecting customer premises for signs of pests and identifying potential risks.
• Tackling pest problems by cleaning and removing evidence of pest behaviour.
• Providing advice to customers on maintenance and hygiene of their premises.
• Completing accurate reports after every visit.
• Delivering exceptional customer service and upholding a professional image.

After 12–36 months you can choose a career path from the following roles:

• Sales Surveyor
• Field Biologist
• Service Team Leader
• Key Account Manager

• Minimum 2.2 degree in a science/BSc related subject including Social Science, or a BA in Business Management, Hospitality or Tourism.
• Desire to work hard and enjoy interacting with customers daily.
• Flexibility with working patterns to support business needs.
• May need to pass a DBS check depending on the role applied for.
