What’s the role?You will be a Relief Cleaning Operative within the Lewisham Cleaning Service. You will work with a team covering corporate buildings, parks, children’s centres and other council-related buildings. A valid driver’s licence is required and you must be able to carry out the tasks listed in the job description.

We are looking for a relief cleaning operative who is flexible, able to travel across the Lewisham Borough, and works closely with three cleaning supervisors, janitors and cleaning operatives. The cleaning service operates from 06:00 to 20:00. You will work as part of a rota covering 06:00‑14:00, 09:00‑17:00, and 12:00‑20:00.

Laurence House, SE6 4RY
is your primary base but you will be required to attend buildings across the Lewisham borough.

£31,086 – £31,530 per annum (Scale
3)

All appointments will be offered at the minimum SCP for the grade of the role. The only exception is when matching current salary (up to the maximum of the scale), which is subject to evidential proof.
