We are looking for a dedicated Damp and Mould Operative to join our team. In this role you will visit customers' properties to assess and treat various types of mould, ensuring homes are safe, clean, and compliant with health standards. You will support customers by explaining the cause of damp and mould and helping them find long‑term solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Attend customer properties to identify and treat damp and mould issues.
- Assess the type and severity of mould and apply appropriate treatment methods.
- Provide advice to customers on prevention and maintenance.
- Maintain accurate records of visits, treatments, and materials used.
- Work safely and in line with health and safety regulations.
- Previous trades experience (e.g., property maintenance, plastering, joinery, or similar).
- Residence within the WC postcode if required for the position.
- Valid driving licence.
We are seeking someone with strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, a customer‑focused approach, and the ability to work independently and manage your own schedule. While experience in damp and mould treatment is ideal, full training will be provided.
