Cleaner (Part-Time, Term Time Only)

Important Before You ApplyThis role involves early morning shifts, Monday to Friday, with some sites requiring employees to start work as early as 5:00am. Please only apply if you can reliably travel to your assigned site and arrive in time for these early start times.
What You’ll Do- Deliver high-quality, client-focused cleaning services
- Follow daily and periodic cleaning schedules across assigned sites
- Clean and sanitise classrooms, offices, toilets, washrooms, communal areas and high-touch surfaces
- Safely handle and store cleaning equipment and chemicals in accordance with COSHH and Health & Safety requirements
- Follow site-specific cleaning schedules and standards
- Carry out occasional deep cleans and responsive cleaning tasks when required
- Maintain excellent standards of cleanliness, hygiene and presentation
- Reliable and punctual
- Friendly and professional in their approach
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Comfortable working in school, office and commercial environments
- Willing to learn and follow cleaning procedures and safety requirements
- Able to communicate effectively with colleagues, site staff and stakeholders
- Able to use initiative and resolve routine issues appropriately
- Committed to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and customer service
- Previous professional cleaning experience is beneficial but not essential. Full induction and on-the-job training will be provided.
- Knowledge of COSHH, cross-contamination prevention and Health & Safety practices would be advantageous. Successful candidates should either hold or be willing to work towards a Level 2 Health & Safety qualification.
- Right to work in the UK
- Willingness to undergo an Enhanced DBS check where required
- Ability to reliably travel to sites in Barking, Dagenham and Newham
- Ability to work early morning shifts, including sites with 5:00am start times
