Responsibilities

To maintain a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness in the home;
To implement safe working procedures and practices in accordance with Health & Safety legislation and the COSHH policy and procedures;
To routinely clean rooms including furniture fittings, fabric, carpets and equipment as per the daily cleaning schedule;
To clean sanitary and other equipment, with attention to the guidelines for the control of germs and infestation;
To deal with refuse and dispose of it in the correct manner;
To ensure safe operation and maintenance, as needed, of all equipment;
To undertake deep cleans of all areas including residents' rooms and communal areas;
To support the kitchen with washing and cleaning in the evening;
To undertake other duties, as may be necessary from time-to-time;
To communicate effectively and professionally with residents, colleagues and visitors;
To work as part of a team supporting others;
To work effectively within policies, procedures, aims, objectives and philosophy of the company.
