Looking for a hands‑on, varied role at the heart of a vibrant community? We’re looking for a reliable and friendly Caretaker to help keep Hadley Wood Jewish Community running smoothly.

This is a flexible, part‑time opportunity supporting events, maintaining facilities, and ensuring a safe, clean and welcoming environment for members and visitors.

What you’ll do:

• Set up and support community events and functions
• Keep the synagogue clean, tidy and well‑maintained
• Manage opening/closing and site security
• Carry out basic repairs and maintenance
• Provide a helpful, customer‑focused service to all building users

• Practical, hands‑on and able to multi‑task
• Friendly, dependable and proactive
• Strong sense of responsibility for health & safety
• Able to work flexible evenings and weekends
• Be part of a respected London community organisation
• Supportive team and meaningful work
