Site Assistant (Full-time, including weekends)

Hours: Full time
Contract: Permanent
Salary: £28,587 - £31,000 per annum + excellent benefits

South Hampstead High School is looking for a reliable and proactive Site Assistant to join our friendly Premises Team. From setting up rooms and supporting events to basic repairs, site checks, security and general maintenance, you’ll help keep our school safe, welcoming and running smoothly. A significant part of the role involves supporting the school’s weekend lettings and events programme.

• Setting up rooms and preparing facilities for classes and events.
• Supporting school events and weekend lettings.
• Performing basic repairs and general maintenance tasks.
• Conducting site checks and ensuring security.
• Providing general support to staff and visitors.

• Good practical skills in caretaking, facilities, maintenance or similar.
• Can‑do attitude and pride in doing a good job.
• Experience in porterage, property services or another hands‑on role (school experience not essential).

• Competitive salary £28,587 - £31,000 per annum.
