School Cover Cleaner

Job Overview

The role is a zero‑hours Cleaning role designed to support operational cover across our sites. No minimum hours guaranteed; shifts are offered based on business needs. Flexibility to accept or decline shifts is required.

• Hourly Rate: £14.27
• Location: London, SE24 0QN
• Hours: Zero‑hours, flexible shifts

• Dedicate time on site to meet Atlas’ client needs.
• Undergo induction and training within the first week.
• Deliver the cleaning specification and use equipment as trained.
• Provide a high standard of customer care across different shift hours.
• Handle site‑based equipment and cleaning materials.
• Replenish consumables such as paper towels, soap, toilet paper, and bin liners.
• Empty litter bins into appropriate waste and recycling containers.
• Ensure cleaning is completed to the highest standards at all times.
• Maintain Health & Safety standards; receive full training.
• Work within a team that goes the extra mile.

• Attitude to thrive with a positive and thoughtful approach.
• Cleaning experience preferred but not required; full training provided if you meet the positive approach criteria.
• Ability to carry out the physical aspects of the role.
• Basic spoken English for safety and communication.
• Good social skills to deliver service with a smile.
• Right to work in the UK (provide evidence at interview).
• Enhanced DBS check required.
• Two satisfactory references required.
