Laundry Assistant

Oxwash is re-engineering the laundry industry from the ground up. Our aim is for clinically clean, net-zero carbon emissions for the whole laundry process. This has never been accomplished and we are determined to be the first truly sustainable on-demand laundry company in the world. We currently operate in Oxford, Cambridge and London, with plans for further growth throughout the UK as well as into the US.

We are a tech company at heart and have built a suite of proprietary software to power our sustainable laundries and logistics. We are venture-backed, having raised several rounds of investment from notable investors including Biz Stone, the co-founder of Twitter, Paul Forster, the founder of , and Reckitt, the corporate that owns the stain remover Vanish, we announced our ‘Oxwash, powered by Vanish’ partnership in early 2021.

We need two permanent, full-time Laundry Assistant, for our 6am to 2pm and2pm to 10pm shift, to help run our sustainable laundry in Battersea. Our ideal candidate is an enthusiastic team player with a strong work ethic and exceptional attention to detail.

Previous laundry or dry cleaning experience is essential, preferably including finishing high end fashion garments. This job involves using a steam iron to return garments to their original shape having been through a wet clean process. You may have worked in a traditional dry cleaner's, or perhaps in a hotel processing uniform or high end guest laundry.

• Finishing high end garments

• Permanent, full-time, shift: 2pm to 6pm
