Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off – Days 07:00 - 19:00

Join Otis’s Transport for London team as an experienced escalator call‑out and repair engineer. Your priority is to ensure the safety of passengers and technical stakeholders by maintaining a portfolio of London Underground escalator units.

• Carry out breakdown and repair work on all escalators within the portfolio to achieve continual operation.
• Work within the London Underground network, managing the portfolio of escalators within it.
• Respond proactively and quickly to fix any breakdowns, aiming to achieve first‑time fix.
• Liaise directly with the customer while on site to build a good working relationship.

• Qualified to at least NVQ Level 3 in Escalator Engineering with significant experience in service and maintenance of escalators.
• Experienced escalator engineer with in‑depth knowledge of a variety of different brands of equipment.
• Hold a valid UK driver’s licence.
• Flexibility is important and overtime may be required.
• Good skills in mechanical and electrical engineering.
• Committed professional, with safety as your priority.
• Comfortable communicating with others.
• Curious, adaptable, and able to work alone or in a team.
• Comfortable using electronic and digital tools.
