A vacancy has arisen for a Domestic Cleaner to join our team at GGCT West Burton Power station.

The Domestic Cleaner role is responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and safety across offices, kitchens, cabins, welfare areas, toilets, shower facilities, and any other areas requested by the client on site.

The role briefly encompasses the following duties:

• Completion of related paperwork as required.
• Maintain high standards of personal and operational hygiene.
• Address customer requests in a courteous and prompt manner.
• Check all areas responsible for are left clean, safe, and secure when leaving the premises.
• Any other related duties as requested by the Manager or client.
• Attend any meetings or training sessions as required.
• Complete site induction and drug and alcohol testing.
• Undertake all mandatory E‑Learning as required.
• Promote and adhere to good safety habits, risk assessments, and methods of work.
• To ensure that personal protective clothing is always used where necessary and kept to the agreed standard.
• To report all accidents and near misses to site contact and line manager and ensure appropriate records are made by completing the required paperwork.
• To ensure all equipment and store cupboards are clean, tidy, and meet COSHH requirements.
• To ensure wet floor and other relevant cleaning signs are used appropriately.

• Flexible approach to work.
• Experience in a similar role beneficial.
• Knowledge of COSHH.
• Experience in using professional cleaning equipment and chemicals an advantage but training will be available.
