Stores Person

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain accurate records of plant hire
• Take delivery of new stock, checking all delivery notes and reporting any discrepancies
• Undertake regular and frequent inspections of stores, buildings and external storage compounds
• Maintain a safe and tidy store area in accordance with health & safety practices
• Liaise with clients, suppliers, and transport companies
• Assist with quarterly and full stock taking activities
• Loading and offloading of vehicles by forklift, once training has been completed

• Previous experience in a similar role
• Full clean UK manual driving licence
• Great organisational and communication skills
• Comfortable using technology and familiar with water fittings
• Client-focused with a 'get it right first time' attitude
• Telehandler licence is a must for this role
