Waste Collection Operative Rate: £13.26 per hour

Barnsley Job Type: Full-time, Temporary Join our Commercial Services team as a Waste Collection Operative, dealing with the collection of household waste items and emptying containers for our customers. This role requires a commitment to service excellence and the ability to work in various weather conditions. Day-to-day of the role:
Undertake operational duties in various weather conditions, involving a range of physically and mentally demanding tasks. Work under the guidance of the driver and supervisor, using personal initiative to deliver services to a professional standard within agreed guidelines. Adhere to agreed schedules and standards, responding positively to new initiatives as required or directed by line managers to ensure all targets are met.

Comply with Health and Safety, Customer Care, Dignity at Work, and other relevant legislation, policies, and procedures at all times. Use IT solutions to deliver and support services, including the completion of electronic records for new services and initiatives. Required Skills &

Qualifications:

Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in all weather conditions. Willingness to work under guidance and use personal initiative. Basic IT skills for completing electronic records. A Basic DBS check will be required for this role. Benefits:
