Roadside Vehicle Technician

• Competitive basic salary of £55,869, with an expected annual earning of £61,000 including incentives and overtime

• Respond promptly to roadside assistance requests across Kingston upon Thames, SW London, and Surrey
• Diagnose and repair a wide range of vehicle issues on a fully equipped mobile service vehicle
• Work independently to identify and resolve mechanical, electrical, and diagnostic problems across various vehicle types, from city cars to 4x4s
• Provide excellent customer service with a calm, professional, and friendly approach during stressful roadside situations
• Maintain accurate records of repairs and communicate effectively with customers and the office team
• Adhere to health and safety standards at all times while working on site or on the roadside

• Minimum of NVQ Level 2 or IMI equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
• Proven mechanical, electrical, and diagnostic experience on a diverse range of vehicles
• Full UK driving licence with minimal points
• Ability to work independently, demonstrating organisation, methodical working practices, and time management skills
• Calm, personable, and customer-focused attitude, able to manage stressful scenarios effectively
• Flexibility to work various shifts including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and bank holidays, with roster provided in advance
