This is a varied role with plenty of autonomy, support and long-term career development, especially as the company has a pipeline of around 4,000 new apartments.

The Role

As Residential Maintenance Supervisor, you’ll help make sure our residential buildings are well maintained, repairs are dealt with quickly, and residents receive a good level of service. You’ll also be expected to work hands-on when needed, leading by example and helping the team complete jobs to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and support the maintenance team
  • Oversee day-to-day repairs and maintenance requests
  • Help plan preventative maintenance across the buildings
  • Carry out inspections and ensure standards are maintained
  • Ensure health and safety, fire safety and compliance requirements are met
  • Manage contractors where needed
  • Keep records of repairs, inspections and compliance checks
  • Help manage tools, materials and stock
  • Respond to emergency maintenance issues when required

Requirements

  • Experience in a similar maintenance role, ideally in residential property
  • Good all-round knowledge of building maintenance, plumbing, electrics and HVAC
  • Experience supervising teams or contractors
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • Organised, practical and able to solve problems
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office and maintenance systems
  • Flexible when emergencies arise
  • Full driving licence is essential
