FACILITIES COORDINATOR - FREELANCE CONTRACTOR
Terms: £15 per hour, invoiced by the Contractor on completion of each booking or on a monthly basis as agreed. As a self-employed contractor, the Facilities Coordinator is responsible for their own tax and National Insurance and is not entitled to holiday pay.
Engagement: Freelance, engaged on an ad-hoc or as-needed basis. The Contractor is free to accept or decline individual bookings, including evening and weekend work, and there is no obligation on either side to offer or accept a minimum number of engagements.
Location: London, any Trampery site.
Main point of contact: Head of Facilities, for coordination on individual bookings.
BACKGROUND TO THIS ROLE
The Facilities Freelance coordinator provides additional support to the Facilities Team during particularly busy periods, when an extra pair of hands is needed to keep on top of workload.
The Facilities Freelance Coordinator service helps with the delivery of core maintenance and facilities support across The Trampery's sites, whether planned or reactive, as assigned on a per-task or per-site basis, and with the on-site coordination required to keep facilities running to a professional standard.
The Contractor will act as the designated point of contact for the tasks and sites they are engaged to deliver, responsible for ensuring work is carried out safely and to the standard agreed with the relevant Facilities Team. This engagement provides exposure to the delivery of a broad range of facilities and maintenance work within a multi-site environment, and is suited to an experienced freelance facilities professional already operating in building maintenance, property management or facilities operations.
