This is a full-time, on-site Cleaning Operative role based in London. The Cleaning Operative will carry out daily cleaning tasks in communal, commercial, and residential areas, including dusting, mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, and sanitising surfaces and facilities. Responsibilities may include window cleaning, carpet care, waste removal, and end-of-tenancy cleaning, following company procedures and health and safety guidelines. The role involves working to agreed schedules, maintaining cleaning equipment and supplies, reporting maintenance issues, and ensuring high standards of cleanliness and presentation.

The Cleaning Operative will interact professionally with clients and colleagues while following COSHH and manual handling practices as trained.

• Experience in commercial cleaning and communal area cleaning, with the ability to follow set routines and standards.
• Skills in window cleaning, including safe use of appropriate tools and equipment.
• Experience in home and house cleaning, with attention to detail in kitchens, bathrooms, and living areas.
• Knowledge of carpet cleaning and basic floor care techniques.
• Understanding of health and safety practices, including COSHH and manual handling, and willingness to follow company procedures.
• Reliability, punctuality, and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Good communication skills and a professional, courteous approach to clients and colleagues.
• Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain) and eligibility to work in the UK.
• Previous experience in cleaning or property services in London or similar urban environments is beneficial.
