School Cleaner Required

We are currently seeking reliable, hardworking, and trustworthy School Cleaners to join our team. Successful candidates will play an important role in maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic learning environment for pupils, staff, and visitors.

• Enhanced DBS Certificate registered with the DBS Update Service (mandatory).
• Previous cleaning experience is preferred but not essential.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness.
• Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude.
• Understanding of health and safety procedures.

As a School Cleaner, your duties will include:

• Cleaning classrooms, corridors, offices, meeting rooms, and communal areas.
• Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing floors.
• Dusting and wiping down desks, furniture, and touch points.
• Cleaning and sanitising toilets, washrooms, and changing facilities.
• Emptying bins and disposing of waste appropriately.
• Replenishing toilet paper, soap, and other hygiene supplies.
• Cleaning internal glass, doors, and windows where required.
• Reporting any maintenance issues, damages, or health and safety concerns.
• Following cleaning schedules and school hygiene standards.
• Ensuring all cleaning equipment and materials are used safely and stored correctly.
• Assisting with deep cleaning duties during school holidays where required.
