Position: Facilities Management including Cleaning Caretaker Nottinghamshire Up to £12.71 / hour

About the Role:

Based at Dunham on Trent C of E Primary School, NG22 0UN
, you will be working 10 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 06:00 to 08:00, 43 weeks per year. This role combines 1.5 hours of caretaking duties and 0.5 hours of cleaning duties per day, ensuring the school remains safe, secure, clean and welcoming for pupils, staff and visitors.

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Opening and securing the school premises
  • Carrying out routine health and safety checks
  • Undertaking basic maintenance and repair tasks
  • Monitoring the condition of the building and grounds
  • Supporting contractors and site visitors when required
  • Completing daily cleaning duties across designated areas
  • Ensuring the school site remains clean, safe and welcoming
Who are we looking for?
  • Previous caretaking, site management, maintenance or cleaning experience is desirable
  • Ability to work independently and use initiative
  • Good communication and problem solving skills

  • An understanding of health and safety requirements
