Refrigeration Engineer Supermarkets North

Supermarket Refrigeration Engineer – North London We’re working with a nationally recognised engineering services provider supporting a major supermarket estate across North London. This is a mobile refrigeration role covering a clearly defined regional patch, delivering planned and reactive maintenance across retail refrigeration systems within a structured service environment.

Training is available for engineers looking to strengthen their experience with CO₂ pack systems, making this a strong opportunity for engineers moving further into supermarket refrigeration.

The Role You’ll support refrigeration maintenance across multiple retail sites, ensuring systems remain compliant, efficient and operational.

Responsibilities include:

Planned preventative maintenance

Reactive service support across store refrigeration assets

Supporting CO₂ pack environments (training available if required)
Diagnosing faults and recommending repair solutions

Minor installations and system modifications

Participation in a structured 1 in 4 standby rota

You’ll work within a coordinated service structure supported by a dedicated planning and technical support desk.

RequirementsNVQ Level 3 Refrigeration (or equivalent)
F-Gas Category 1

Full UK driving licence

Supermarket experience beneficial but not essential.
