Caretaker, Cleaning Services, Building Maintenance

Location: North West London (NW3)

Salary: £29,000-£30,000 per annum

Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:00pm

Start Date: Ideally before Christmas 2026

We are seeking a reliable, hands-on Caretaker to maintain the cleanliness, presentation and general upkeep of a residential development with five blocks in North West London.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Caretaker who takes pride in their work, enjoys working independently and is committed to maintaining high standards across communal areas.

• Clean and maintain communal areas, including entrances, stairwells and corridors.
• Vacuum, sweep and keep shared spaces presentable.
• Collect litter and leaves and maintain the general appearance of the estate.
• Carry out routine site checks and report maintenance issues promptly.
• Check communal lighting and assist with basic meter readings where required.
• Record contractor visits and communicate professionally with residents and management using a mobile phone and email.

• Previous experience as a Caretaker, or in a similar property maintenance or site-based role.
• A reliable, practical and proactive approach, with strong attention to detail.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work independently.
• Comfortable keeping records, using a mobile phone and identifying maintenance issues.

• Monday-Friday working hours.
