Maintenance Operative Level 1 – Structures

To undertake routine inspections and maintenance of structures across the DBFO Network, including bridges, gantries, and smaller assets. The role involves both manual work and record-keeping, including updating systems and logs. The successful candidate will require strong IT skills, plan and allocate team tasks, provide feedback to their line manager, and operate small plant as part of the works.

• Deliver work in line with agreed schedules.

• Undertake duties that may involve physical activity.
• Show flexibility in working hours, including occasional night shifts.
• Safely operate small plant and equipment.

• No prior experience required; full training provided.
• CSCS card holder.
• Experience in small works.
• Working at height (MEWPs and gantry access ladders).
• Confined space certification.
• Full driving licence.
