Domestic Assistant

A three-month fixed-term domestic post in the Delivery Frontline team at NHS Property Services. The work is keeping a healthcare site clean, safe and comfortable for patients, visitors and staff, following infection prevention, control and COSHH procedures. The role is 25 hours a week on evening shifts, Monday to Friday, 7pm to midnight. A standard DBS check is needed before starting.

• Carry out cleaning duties to a consistently high standard
• Support infection prevention and control measures
• Follow Health & Safety and COSHH procedures
• Complete routine cleaning tasks efficiently and effectively
• Maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment throughout the site
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver an excellent service
• Work to NHS Property Services policies, procedures and cleaning schedules

• Experience in cleaning, housekeeping, domestic services, hospitality or facilities services
• Experience in care or healthcare environments, or in customer-facing roles where high standards matter
