What difference will you make? As a trustee with jazz music experience, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our leadership truly reflects and understands the communities & artists we support. Your lived experience will bring invaluable perspective to our strategic discussions about talent development, artistic programming, and how we champion young musicians.

What are we looking for?

• UK-based professional jazz musician with strategic thinking and commitment to youth music education.
• Sound judgment, financial literacy, and ability to provide constructive challenge.
• Experience in music law or marketing (particularly digital marketing and social media) is desirable.
• Prior trustee experience not necessary – we support first‑time trustees.

What will you be doing?

• Contribute to board discussions and decisions on strategy, programming, education, finance and fundraising.
• Help ensure the board remains representative of the communities we serve and the young people we champion.
• Provide constructive challenge and support the CEO in shaping artistic and organisational direction.
