Technical Manager

We are working with a leading UK residential developer to appoint an experienced Technical Manager for a landmark riverside regeneration scheme in Wandsworth. This is a high-profile, long-term project delivering large-scale residential and mixed-use development in one of London’s most desirable locations.

The Role

As Technical Manager, you will take full ownership of the technical delivery of one or more phases of the scheme from pre-construction through to completion, working closely with internal teams and external consultants.

Key responsibilities include:

* Managing the design process from planning through to construction and handover

* Coordinating architects, engineers, and specialist consultants

* Reviewing and approving technical drawings, specifications, and design information

* Ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, building regulations, and NHBC

* Supporting procurement and construction teams with technical input

* Managing technical risk, value engineering, and buildability reviews

* Leading technical meetings and driving programme certainty

About You

* Proven experience as a Technical Manager / Design Manager within residential or mixed-use development

* Background with a main contractor or residential developer preferred

* Strong knowledge of UK building regulations and residential design standards

* Experience working on large-scale or phased regeneration schemes is highly desirable

* Confident communicator with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders

* Proactive, organised, and commercially aware
