A market-leading facilities management provider is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead a major healthcare contract in West London. This is a flagship site within a critical healthcare environment, requiring strong technical leadership, compliance expertise, and a calm, professional approach.

This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of a highly regulated, high-profile estate where reliability, safety, and service excellence are paramount.

The Role

As Engineering Manager, you will have full responsibility for the day-to-day operation, compliance, and performance of all building services across the healthcare site. You will lead a multi-disciplinary engineering team while working closely with the client to ensure the estate remains safe, compliant, and fully operational at all times.

Key Responsibilities

Lead, motivate, and develop a team of electrical, mechanical, and fabric engineers

Ensure full compliance with HTM, statutory, and healthcare regulations

Manage PPM schedules, reactive works, and lifecycle planning

Oversee subcontractors and specialist service providers

Act as the main technical point of contact for the client

Deliver audits, reporting, and performance reviews

Manage budgets, cost control, and commercial performance

Drive continuous improvement, reliability, and service excellence

What We’re Looking For

Proven experience in an Engineering Manager, Technical Manager, or Senior Contract Manager role within FM

Strong background in healthcare, hospitals, or critical environments

Solid technical knowledge across electrical and mechanical building services

Excellent understanding of compliance, HTMs, and statutory regulations

Strong leadership, client-facing, and stakeholder management skills

Relevant technical qualification (Electrical or Mechanical) with management experience
