Our team is split between London, UK and Washington D.C., USA, working with clients across North America and Europe.
The RoleWe’re looking for an Integrated B2B Communications Account Director to take ownership of our most important global client relationships.
This is a senior, client-facing role for someone who brings gravitas, precision and confidence – someone who knows what “great” looks like across earned media and owned content, and who isn’t afraid to push back when quality or clarity is at risk.
You’ll lead accounts end-to-end: shaping the narrative, setting strategic direction, overseeing execution, and acting as a trusted partner to senior client stakeholders.

What You’ll Be Responsible For:- Owning and leading high-value, high-expectation B2B client accounts
- Acting as the senior day-to-day contact for clients, including founders and exec teams
- Commanding trust and respect through calm authority, clarity and follow-through
- Knowing when to challenge clients – and how to do it constructively
- Leading the strategic development of integrated communications programmes
- Defining and refining the narrative clients should own in their market
- Translating business objectives into earned and owned content strategies
- Ensuring consistency, coherence and quality across all outputs
- Overseeing earned media programmes (announcements, thought leadership, commentary, data stories, interviews, news‑jacking)
- Ensuring owned content (executive content, blogs, articles, white papers) is strategically aligned and editorially strong
- Acting as the final quality bar – detail, tone, messaging, timing
- Coaching and developing account managers and executives
- Delegating clearly and effectively across multiple accounts
- Raising standards across writing, media relations and strategic thinking
- Providing calm, decisive leadership under pressure
- Playing a senior role in shaping how Bloxspring works with clients
- Supporting account growth and retention through excellent delivery
- Representing Bloxspring with confidence and credibility externally
- 6+ years’ experience in B2B communications (agency background essential)
- Proven experience leading high‑pressure, complex client accounts
- Deep understanding of earned media and how it integrates with owned content
- Strong strategic instincts – you can spot a weak narrative from a mile away
- Exceptional attention to detail and standards
- Natural authority and presence with clients and teams
- Clear, confident communicator (written and verbal)
- Comfortable working across time zones and cultures
