Head of Sustainability

A growing, innovation-led organisation in the Energy sector is seeking an experienced Head of Sustainability to lead the development and delivery of its sustainability, ESG, and decarbonisation services.

Operating across complex, multi-site environments, the business supports a broad client base through a blend of advisory, data, and technology-enabled solutions. Sustainability is a core strategic priority, and this role will play a key part in shaping the direction, capability, and commercial growth of the function.

This is a senior leadership opportunity suited to someone who combines strong technical knowledge with team leadership and client-facing experience.

You will be responsible for leading and expanding a multidisciplinary sustainability team, overseeing the delivery of ESG, data, and decarbonisation programmes. The role blends strategic leadership, operational oversight, and commercial contribution.

• Lead, mentor, and develop a specialist sustainability team
• Oversee delivery of ESG, reporting, and net zero–related projects
• Ensure high standards of technical quality and client service
• Contribute to the strategic growth of sustainability services
• Build and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships
• Support the integration of sustainability into wider business strategy

• Experience in a senior sustainability or ESG leadership role ideally withinthe Energy/ consulting sector
• Strong knowledge of ESG reporting, sustainability data, and decarbonisation strategies
• Confident managing clients and senior stakeholders
• Commercially aware with the ability to link sustainability to business value
• Comfortable operating in a fast-evolving, solutions-driven environment
