Overview:
My client is looking for a Senior Project Manager to be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of a portfolio of complex structure build projects, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest operational and safety standards. This role requires strong leadership, commercial awareness, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Delivery
Lead multiple complex projects simultaneously, achieving operational and profitability targets.
Manage full project life cycle: planning, budgeting, stakeholder coordination, supplier management, and on-site execution.
Own financial performance including budgeting, cost control, purchase orders, approvals, and cash-flow management.
Develop and manage project schedules to ensure timely delivery.
Maintain strong stakeholder relationships through clear communication and expectation management.
Coordinate technical requirements across internal teams and external partners.
Manage supply chain to ensure best value, quality, and service.
Ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations, including RAMS and associated documentation.
Oversee build and de-rig phases to ensure safe and successful execution.
Conduct post-project reviews to drive continuous improvement.
Support commercial activities including proposals, pitches, and new project enquiries.
Experience & Skills
Extensive experience delivering event projects, including sporting events, sponsorship activations, exhibitions, or similar environments.
Strong knowledge of temporary structures, site overlay, and event infrastructure.
Proven stakeholder management experience at all levels.
Strong commercial and financial acumen, including supplier negotiation and margin control.
Highly organised and resilient, with the ability to perform under pressure.
Demonstrated leadership experience managing cross-functional teams.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and G-Suite.
Qualifications:
Essential
Full UK Driving Licence
NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent Health & Safety qualification
