Our client, a Tier 1 Investment Bank, is seeking an Engagement Manager to join their Strategy function within one of its major global business divisions. This is a high‑profile role offering direct exposure to senior leadership and the opportunity to lead complex, high‑impact initiatives that shape the division’s long‑term direction.

You will play a key role in defining investment priorities, supporting financial planning, and driving strategic decision‑making across a global business line. Partnering with senior stakeholders, you will address critical commercial challenges, assess growth opportunities, and help position the franchise for sustained success in an evolving market environment.

• Lead end‑to‑end strategic projects, from problem definition through analysis and executive recommendation.
• Evaluate long‑term growth opportunities, business performance, and competitive positioning.
• Deliver clear, data‑driven insights based on market, industry, and competitor analysis.
• Act as a trusted advisor to senior business leaders across multiple regions.
• Support strategic planning cycles and track performance against key financial and operational KPIs.

• Experience leading high‑impact strategy engagements within a top‑tier strategy consultancy (e.g. MBB, Oliver Wyman, Strategy&), or within the strategy function of a leading financial institution.
• Strong understanding of wholesale, corporate, or investment banking environments.
• Demonstrated ability to identify and evaluate strategic opportunities and risks with material commercial impact.
• Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with experience influencing senior leaders, including Managing Director and Executive‑level stakeholders.
• Advanced analytical capability, with a track record of translating complex data into actionable strategic recommendations.
