Our Client is seeking a highly professional, discreet and proactive Head of Private Office to support the Group CEO. You will ensure the smooth, efficient and strategic running of the CEO's office, acting as a trusted liaison between the CEO and internal or external stakeholders. This role requires exceptional organisational capability, excellent judgement, and the ability to manage complex programmes of work across multiple sites.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee day‑to‑day operations of the CEO's Office and ensure effective communication flow.
- Provide high‑level executive and personal assistant support, optimising the CEO's diary.
- Coordinate resources, facilities, events and travel across all group locations, including support for high‑profile visits.
- Produce clear, high‑quality briefings, analysis and reports.
- Lead on internal and external communications in partnership with the Communications team.
- Track strategic projects, monitor progress and escalate risks.
- Promote a strong customer‑service culture and mentor Executive Assistants.
- Support governance operations, coordinating Board papers and ensuring follow‑through on actions.
- Maintain high levels of confidentiality, accuracy and professional judgement.
- Manage non‑pay budgets, expenses and CRM updates for stakeholder engagement.
- Degree‑level education (or equivalent experience).
- Significant experience in business operations within a complex organisation.
- Proven ability to influence, support senior leaders and manage multi‑site administrative teams.
- Exceptional written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
- Highly organised, resilient and able to work at pace under pressure.
- Strong ambassadorial skills with integrity, discretion and professionalism.
- Confident using Microsoft 365 and able to adopt new systems quickly.
- Full UK driving licence required.
