Overview

We have partnered with a specialist UK insurer to find a Portfolio Performance Manager to lead the performance oversight of their motor-focused book. This is a key role with real influence, shaping strategy, supporting planning, and driving profitability across a unique and complex portfolio.

• Analyse portfolio performance by scheme, trade, and channel to drive actionable insights.
• Support business planning with clear input on rate actions, claims inflation, and loss ratio trends.
• Enhance performance MI and deliver reporting to senior stakeholders and board-level forums.
• Build effective oversight of outsourced partners, ensuring aligned and transparent performance management.
• Lead the Performance & Decisions Committee and contribute to internal governance forums.

This is a great role for someone with experience managing Motor, Home, or other Personal Lines portfolios, who enjoys working with different teams to understand what s driving performance and can help improve it through targeted pricing and underwriting decisions.
